2.3.1

Assembling the Design mantle

1. First, carefully open the front panel by pulling it forward at the
bottom.
The gas compression springs see to it that lid
remains open.
2. Carefully take out the Fera fire appliance from the mantle and
put it aside in a safe place. For the Fera 75 and Fera 105 the
appliance is delivered separately.
3. Now, you can disassemble the front panel by removing the 2
slide catches from the hinges at the top and loosening the gas
compression springs.
4. Now cut the steel strip and take the built-in frame from the
pallet.
Put it at the spot where the fire will be fitted.

fireproof wall. In the front foot frame, there are two holes in
order to fasten the whole onto the floor by means of key bolts.
5. Now put the Fera fire appliance back onto the supports in the
frame and fasten the appliance in the centre by means of the
two clamping screws in the frame. Provide for a 1mm-distance
between windowpane and mantle.
6. Connect the flue gas line using the Kal-Fire concentric
stainless steel flue pipes.
7. Connect the gas supply at the provided spot, and connect the
remote control to an EARTHENEND mains power supply.
8. For the finish around the Design Line mantle, the front edge of
the frame can be used as mounting support for the fire
retardant mounting plates with a maximum thickness of 20
mm. (plates can be screwed on to it).
9. Should it appear necessary to the plasterer, the enveloping 3-
sided profiles can be loosened by means of the screws at the
inside and remounted after everything has been finished.
10. For putting the front cap back into place, wear the supplied
white gloves in order to avoid possible prints on the front side.

11. When the front cap has been put back into place, clean the
front panel with the supplied cleaning product and non-fluffy
cloths.
12. Last but not least: enjoy the end result!

Fera Haste mantle and blue stone

The Fera Haste and blue stone mantle are fully
checked at our factory for possible damages prior to
their packing.

The mantles are delivered in a cardboard box, which
has to be opened very carefully without damaging
the mantle with the knife.
2.4.1
Assembling the Fera Haste and blue stone mantle.
1. Position the Fera 60 or 75 according to the installation
instructions as mentioned in your manual. Mind that the front
(glass plate) of the fire appliance is level to the front of the
mantle.
2. Make sure that the fire appliance is built in with heat resistant
sheets (e.g. promotec), according to drawing 10.1, so that
convection air can flow in the direction indicated by the
arrows.
3. At the back of the mantle there are 2 horizontally attached
plates. The upper plate can be used as supporting point. (also
see drawing 10.2)
4. Fasten the mounting plate against the wall at the height of the
upper attaching plate, as indicated in drawing 10.3.
5. Hook the mantle onto the upper attaching plate and lower the
mantle (onto the floor)
6. Now the mantle is attached to the wall at the topside. Push
the bottom of the mantle against the wall
7. Last but not least: enjoy the end result!
