2. The temperature should be high-

3. The time should be highlighted.
Press the UP or DOWN button to
adjust the time. Press SET TIME.
4. The home screen will now indi-
cate a TEMPORARY HOLD until
the desired time. RESUME
PROGRAM will cancel the tem-
porary hold and return to the
programmed temperature set-
ting.

Setting Vacation Mode

The setpoint and temperature are held to up to 45 days.
1. From the home screen, press the HOLD TEMP button Then select
VACATION HOLD.
2. The temperature should be high-
lighted. Use the UP or DOWN
button to change to the desired
temperature. Press SET TEMP.
3. The number of days should be
blinking. Use the UP or DOWN
button to set the length of your
vacation. Press SET DAY.
4. The home screen will now indi-
cate the VACATION settings.
RESUME PROGRAM will cancel
the vacation settings and return
to the programmed temperature
setting.

Installer Settings

The INSTALLER SETTINGS are programmed during the initial installation
and are selected based on the type of equipment used in the application.
This feature should be set only by a certified HVAC technician. Incorrect
use of these settings could result in higher energy costs and may even
damage the HVAC equipment.
1. From the home screen press
MENU. Use UP/DOWN buttons
to highlight INSTALLER SET-
TINGS. Press SELECT.
2. The
INSTALLER SETTINGS
screen appears. Use the UP/
DOWN buttons to scroll to all the
installer settings.
NOTE − DEADBAND setting will
not appear if AUTO CHANGE-
OVER is disabled. BALANCE
POINT settings appears only on
81M28 units only and require that
an outdoor temperature sensor
be installed.
3. Select SYSTEM SETUP. The resulting screen depends on which
system and thermostat are being installed and are described as fol-
lows:
