Any electromechanical device occasionally requires some troubleshooting. However, most of the problems that
may arise can usually be solved with a bit of thought and common sense. Many of these problems occur because
the batteries are not fully charged or because the batteries are worn down and can no longer hold a charge.

DIAGNOSTIC FAULT CODES

The diagnostic fault codes for your scooter are designed to help you perform basic troubleshooting quickly and
easily. A diagnostic flash code will flash from the status LED in the event one of the conditions listed below
develops. Your scooter will also emit a beep code to indicate the system fault.
NOTE: Your scooter will not run unless the fault code condition is resolved and the scooter has been
turned off, then turned back on.

What if all the systems on my scooter seem to be dead?
! Make certain that the key is in the "on" position.
! Check that the batteries are fully charged.
! Push in the main circuit breaker reset button. See III. "Your Scooter."
! Make certain that both battery harnesses and the front-to-rear harness are firmly connected. See VII. "Disas-
sembly and Assembly."
! Be sure the power down timer feature has not been activated. See V. "Operation."
What if my scooter does not move when I engage the throttle control lever?
! When the manual freewheel lever is pushed forward, the brakes are disengaged and all power to the motor/
transaxle assembly is cut.
! Push rearward on the manual freewheel lever, turn the scooter off, and then turn the scooter on to return to
normal scooter operation.

C harge batteries as soon as possible.
C harge batteries.
U nplug charger and/or turn key o ff, then
back on again.
T urn the scooter off for a few m inutes,
then turn your scooter back on.
R em o ve the key fro m the key sw itch,
then p ush the m anual freew heel lever to
the (rear) drive position, and restart your
scooter.
R eturn the thro ttle control lever to center
position, turn scooter off, then back on.
