Connecting to an IBM 468X/469X Interface

Connect the IBM 46XX interface cable to the appropriate port on the host (Port 9B or Port 5B).

If using Port 5B, connect power (Port 9B does not require a separate power supply):

Connect the power supply adapter cable to the power jack on the interface cable.

Connect the other end of the power supply adapter cable to the power supply.

Plug the power supply into an AC outlet.
