6.3 Installation Procedure

• Remove the external packing/protection materials.
• Remove the shipping tape.
Note: Save the shipping materials for future use (Transport of copier)
Caution: Make sure the copier is unplugged before the installation.

1. Optical unit
(1) Remove the optical unit shipping
screws. (2 screws)
2. 550 sheet paper drawer
(1) Open the 550 sheet paper drawer
fully.
(2) Remove the shipping styrofoam.
(1 piece)
(3) Close the paper drawer.
