[D-3] FINAL CHECK
Checking procedures
1. Check the brake fluid level in the brake master cylinder reservoir and brake fluid reservoir.
Refer to "CHECKING THE BRAKE FLUID LEVEL" on page 3-14.
2. Check the wheel sensor housings and wheel sensors for proper installation.
Refer to "INSTALLING THE FRONT WHEEL (FRONT BRAKE DISCS)" on page 4-27 and "IN-
STALLING THE REAR WHEEL (REAR BRAKE DISC)" on page 4-34.
3. Perform hydraulic unit operation test 1 or 2.
Refer to "HYDRAULIC UNIT OPERATION TESTS" on page 4-71.
4. Delete the fault codes.
Refer to "[D-1] DELETING THE FAULT CODES" on page 8-129.
5. Perform a trial run.
Refer to "TRIAL RUN" on page 4-75.

11.If the above-mentioned checks are within
specification, replace the hydraulic unit as-
sembly.
12.Install the coupler cover "1" to the ABS ECU
coupler.

NOTICE
Before installing the coupler cover, make
sure that the lock lever is positioned toward
the top of the cover as shown in the illustra-
tion. Otherwise, you will not be able to dis-
connect the ABS ECU coupler from the
hydraulic unit.
TIP

Fit the projections "a" on the top of the coupler
cover into the ABS ECU coupler, and then fit the
projections "b" on the bottom of the cover into
the coupler.
