SPECIAL CONDITIONS

CAUTION
Infl ating to a higher pressure than necessary may result in bruising where the
cuff is applied.
If your systolic pressure is known to be more than 220 mmHg, press and hold the
START/STOP button until the monitor infl ates 30 to 40 mmHg higher than your
expected systolic pressure.
NOTE: • Do not apply more pressure than necessary.
• The monitor will not infl ate above 299 mmHg.
When the measurement is complete, the arm cuff completely defl ates. Your blood
pressure and pulse rate are displayed.
