Google Local
Google Local uses your location to help you find nearby destinations, such as restaurants, bars,
hotels, attractions, ATMs and gas stations, or you can enter a location. The Local service is
accessible through the Google Maps app.

Another Google Maps navigation application is available on your phone. It uses your current location
(provided by the GPS feature of your phone) to provide various location-based services.

Scout
Scout by Telenav is a daily personal navigator that helps you get where you're going. It lets you see
and hear turn-by-turn directions and it can provide important, personalized information about traffic
and alternate routes.
Install the Scout App on Your Phone
Before you use Scout on your phone, you must download and install the app from the Google Play
Store.

2. Tap INSTALL and follow the prompts to download and install the app.
Enable Location Services on Your Phone
Before using any location-based services, you must enable your phone's GPS location feature. For
more information about location services, see Location Services.

2. Tap Location services for options:
Access to my location: T ap ON/OFF to enable location services. When enabled, you are

allowing Google's location service to collect anonymous location data. Some data may be
stored on your phone, and collection may occur even when no apps are running.
