1. Press and tap
2. Tap Language and input, and then tap the check box next to Google voice typing to enable
or disable the feature.
3. Tap
beside Google voice typing to configure options:
Choose input languages: S elect language(s) to use for voice input, or choose Automatic

to let Google decide.
Block offensive words: T ap the check box to control whether Google displays words
l
generally recognized as offensive.
Download offline speech recognition: D ownload and install speech recognition engines,
l
to allow you to use voice input while not connected to the network, such as during Airplane
mode.

Samsung Keyboard Settings

The Samsung Keyboard is an on-screen QWERTY keyboard, so you can enter text by "typing" on
the keyboard. Samsung keyboard is enabled by default, and you can choose options for using it.

2. Tap Language and input, and then tap
options:
Alphabets: C hoose a keyboard configuration to be used when entering letters (Qwerty

keyboard [default] or 3x4 keyboard).
Numbers and symbols: C hoose the default keypad when the screen is in portrait mode:

QWERTY or 3x4 keyboard (similar to a phone keypad).
Input language: C hoose language(s) for use with Samsung keyboard. When you have
l
more than one language enabled, you can slide your finger on the space bar while entering
text to switch languages.
Predictive text: T ap the ON/OFF switch to turn predictive text on or off. Predictive text
l
suggests words matching your text entries, and optionally, complete common words
automatically. Tap Predictive text to configure options:
Personalized data: W hen enabled, predictive text uses personal language data you
o
have entered to make better predictions. Samsung keyboard can collect all the text you
enter, including personal data and credit card numbers, in order to give better prediction
results.

Facebook postings.
Learn from Gmail: L og into Gmail to allow your phone to learn from your Gmail email.
