Tip: You can also launch S Voice by quickly pressing the Home Key twice. To enable this setting,
tap > S ettings, and check Open via the home key.

Voice Recorder

The Voice recorder allows you to record an audio file up to one minute long and then immediately
share it using AllShare, Messaging, Gmail, or via Bluetooth. Recording time will vary based on the
available memory within the phone.
1. Press

2. To start recording, tap

Share via: S hares your recording using such methods as Dropbox, Bluetooth, Email, Gmail,

Messaging, or Wi-Fi Direct.
Delete: D eletes one or more voice recordings. Tap the recordings to delete and tap Delete.

Tap OK to confirm the deletion.
Settings:
l
Storage: S ets where your recordings will be saved. Select between Phone or memory
o
card.
Recording quality: S ets the recording quality to High or Normal.
o
Limit for multimedia message: S ets whether voice recordings you make are limited to
o
a size that can be attached to a multimedia message.
Contextual filename: S ets whether the phone automatically creates a filename that
o
includes GPS location information. When turned On, contextual filenames are assigned
when the GPS tag options is turned On in the Camera, and the phone is connected with
a network.
Default name: S ets the name prefix for your recordings. For example, if your Default
o
name is Voice, your recordings would be named Voice 001, Voice 002, Voice 003, etc.
Noise reduction: S elects whether the phone uses noise reduction during recording, to
o
improve recording quality.
Recording volume: S ets the default volume for recordings.
o
Channel: S elects whether recordings are made in Stereo or Mono.
o
Skip interval: S ets the number of seconds to skip when you press the Forward and
o
Back buttons during playback.
