NPFClO battery pack
When you record images in an extremely cold location or using the LCD screen, the
operating time becomes short. When using the camera in an extremely cold location,
place the battery pack in your pocket or other place to keep it warm, then insert the
battery pack into the camera just before recording. When using a pocket heater, take
care not to let the heater directly contact the battery.
Power save mode
When [POWER SAVE] in the SET UP screen is set to [ON], the battery life will be
extended when recording still images. The factory setting is [OFF] (page 81).

The LCD screen turns off while the flash is being charged (while the f flash charge
lamp is flashing*). When the camera is turned on for the first time after being left
unused for a long period of time, the flash will take longer than usual to charge.
*If the charging time is short,
the
$ flash charge lamp may not light.

The time from when you press the shutter button until the image is recorded is
slightly longer than when [POWER SAVE] is [OFF].

The focus is only aligned when the shutter button is pressed halfway, even when
auto focusing is activated.
