With the optional bow fill-in cushion(s) you can turn the
bow of your Horizon into a sundeck. These bow fill-in
cushions can be easily removed or installed in a matter

the walk-thru storage locker. Contact your Four

L - 16 AFT FILL-IN CUSHIONS (U-WRAP OR C-
SEATING)
Available for boats with a U-wrap seating configura-
tions (210 Horizon-265 Sundowner models) or C-wrap
seating configurations (280 Horizon and 285
Sundowner models), are optional aft fill-in cushions.
Just like the bow fill-in cushions, you can turn your stern
into a sundeck or berthing space. These aft fill-in cush-
ions can be easily removed or installed in a matter of
minutes.
L - 17 FENDER STORAGE - HORIZONS
Fender storage is available on all Horizon models. The
fender storage provides two easily accessible compart-
ments for storing docking bumpers/fenders. These
bumpers help to protect your boat while docked.
L - 18 COMPANIONWAY DOORS
The 215 - 265 Sundowner models have lockable, white
companionway doors for security and privacy. These
companionway doors are removable. Removing the
companionway doors allows for more interaction be-
tween the boat’s occupants.
The companionway doors are made of white plexiglass
and can be cleaned with automotive glass cleaner or
dishwashing soap and water. Ensure that a clean cloth
is used to prevent scratching the plexiglass.

L - 19 COMPANIONWAY SLIDER DOOR
The 285 Sundowner has a sliding companionway door
for access into the cabin. The door is lockable for se-
curity. Steps have been built into the companionway
door to gain access to the bow area through the walk-
thru window. See Figure L15. When opening the com-
panionway door, note that it slides neatly into the star-
board console. A “flip-up” style latch is provided to keep
the sliding door open when desired and prevents the
door from shutting on its own when boating.
