Driver Compatibility

You can operate the TM-T88IV with a driver for the TM-T88III.
You cannot operate the TM-T88III with a driver for the TM-T88IV.
Advanced Printer Driver
When the TM-T88III is controlled by an APD, you can replace it with the TM-T88IV without
modifying the APD.
OPOS ADK
When the TM-T88III is controlled by an OPOS ADK, you can replace it with the TM-T88IV
without modifying the OPOS ADK.

Buzzer

The TM-T88IV cannot use the following interface boards with the buzzer function. Do not
connect an interface board for TM-T88III to the TM-T88IV.
• UB-E02A (Ethernet interface board with the buzzer function)
• UB-R02A (Wireless interface board with the buzzer function)
Do not use the above interface boards with the buzzer function.
The printer or the interface board may be damaged.

CAUTION
• UB-R02A (Wireless interface board with the buzzer function)
Use the TM-T88IV models with the buzzer function to use the buzzer function. You can beep the
buzzer with the pulse signal using the same command as the TM-T88III without changing
settings.

Accessories

The same consumables and options are available for the TM-T88IV as for the TM-T88III.
