Pressing the unlock button on the
keyless entry transmitter also
disarms the theft deterrent system.
See "Theft Deterrent System"
earlier in this section for
information.
Note:
Button is not operable on
your vehicle.
Vehicle Locator/Panic Alarm
Press and release to locate your
vehicle.
The horn will chirp three times and
the turn signal lights will flash
three times.
When the ignition is off, press and
hold for 3 seconds to activate an
alarm.
The horn will sound and the
turn signal lights will flash.
To turn the alarm off, press the
button again or turn on the
ignition.
Section 3
Power Liftgate
Press and hold to open and
close the power liftgate.
The taillights will flash and a chime
will sound while the liftgate is
opening and closing.
If the rear wiper is active when you
press the power liftgate button,
the rear wiper will move to the
"parked" position as the liftgate
opens.
The rear wiper will return to
normal operation once the liftgate
is closed.
If the power liftgate presses
against an obstruction while it is
opening or closing, the liftgate
automatically reverses direction.
