4-5 Previewing jobs

O ENABLE SOFT PROOFING
1. Display a full-screen preview of the desired job, as described on
2. Select the Soft-Proof option, located in the top center of the full-screen preview.
3. Click Load.
A dialog box prompts you to select a monitor profile.
4. Locate and select the monitor profile for your monitor.
• If you are using the monitor that is part of the Fiery Advanced Controller Interface
option, select the monitor profile that shipped with the Océ 1000C.
• If you are using a different monitor, be sure to select a profile customized to describe
the characteristics of your particular monitor. Otherwise, the soft proof will not be
accurate.
For best results, use an application like EFI Color Profiler for Monitors to create a
custom profile of your monitor. If you cannot create a custom profile, reset your
monitor settings to the factory defaults and use the generic ICC profile for your
monitor type.
5. Click Open.
The full-screen preview now displays a soft proof of the original job, as interpreted
through the monitor profile you specified.
