Chapter 1 Overview
n System Power button (
Press to turn the system power on or off.
o System Reset button (
Press to reset and restart the system.
p Maintenance button
This button is used for maintenance by your support personnel. Do not operate this button by
yourself.
q Fan modules
This server has four system fans by default, and a redundant function is effective.
r Fan module failure LED
Indicates fan modules status. This LED glimmers amber when the server is turned on, and is lit
intense amber at the time of fan modules failure
s 3.5-inch storage bay
Contains an internal hard disk.
t Hard disk access LED (
This LED is lit when data is being written to or read from the hard disk. When the hard disk is not
accessed, this is not lit.
u Hard disk failure LED (
During an array system configuration, this LED is lit amber when an error is detected in the
internal hard disk unit. It is lit or blinks depending on the hard disk status as follows.

Data in the hard disk may be damaged.
