Check Points
Is the SC phase adjusted properly?
Are the Tri-level sync signal or BB signals applied to the
GENLOCK INPUT connectors?
Is the VTR playback signal supplied directly without passing
through a TBC?
Is the SETUP LEVEL setting of camera set to the value same as
SETUP LEVEL setting of RM-HP250AU?
Functions that are not available on the camera cannot be
controlled.
Are cables connected properly?
Is the power switch of the camera set to ON?
Are cables connected properly?
Is the power switch of the camera set to ON?
(When power of camera is turned off while RM-HP250 is on,
"PLEASE CHECK THE CAMERA" will be displayed after about 20
seconds if RM-HP250 is operated.
In addition, when turning on RM-HP250 while the power switch of
camera is off, similar display will appear after about 30 seconds. )
The connected camera does not have the assigned function.
Check the camera functions again and assign the proper
functions to the F1 to F4 keys.
Is the W.BAL switch set to A or B?
Is FAS or FAW ON (which is indicated by the lighting of the AUTO
light)?
Are the color temperature filters and lighting conditions appropriate?
Does the object have colors?
Is the tally system of the RM-HP250 compatible with that of the
camera system?
The RM-HP250 has been set to the voltage supply at the factory.
If it is required to use the TALLY input in the contact supply mode,
the setting of the internal circuitry should be changed ; consult the
nearest JVC-authorized service agent.
Is the STUDIO cable of KA-HD250U pulled out or loose?
Are cables connected properly?
Is the power switch of the camera set to ON?
(When power of camera is turned off while RM-HP250/RM-LP25U is
on, similar display will appear after about 10 seconds.)

(When turning on RM-HP250/RM-LP25U while the power switch of
camera is off, the OPERATE button will keep blinking.)
