Installing the au IC-Card
Turn off the product and remove its battery
pack before installing an au IC-Card.
For information about removing and
installing the battery pack, refer to
"Installing/removing the battery pack"

With the IC (metal) side of the au IC-Card
facing downwards, pass the card under
the clasp and insert it straight into the slot
as far as it will go.
Take care that the cut off corner of the
card is in the correct position.
