12. Remove the lower mower deck belt from the mower
deck (Fig. 656).

Belt Replacement

Installation

1. Route the lower mower deck belt as follows:
A. Around the bottom pulley of the double pulley
spindle assembly, to the inside of the left idler
pulley (Fig. 657).

B. Around the center spindle pulley; rotate the right
idler assembly back and position the belt down
between the idler assembly and brake bracket
(Fig. 658).

C. Rotate the right idler forward and position the
belt behind the tab on the right idler bracket.
Route the belt around the right spindle pulley
(Fig. 659).
