Opening the Doors

To open the doors,
simply touch the
pad located at the
rear edge of each
door. Once the pad
is pressed, the
doors unlock and
open if the Keyless
Access transmitter
is within three feet of the door.
See Section 2 of your Owner Manual.

Starting and Stopping

Your Engine

To Start the Engine:
1. Press the brake
pedal on
automatic
transmission-
equipped
vehicles or the
clutch pedal
on manual
transmission-equipped vehicles.
2. Press the top of the Start button,
located on the instrument panel to
the right of the steering wheel.
The engine will start if the Keyless
Access transmitter is in the car.
To Stop the Engine:
1. Move the shift lever to Park (P) on
automatic transmission-equipped
vehicles or to Reverse (R) on manual
transmission-equipped vehicles.
2. Press and hold the Off/ACC button
(the bottom part of the Start
button) until the engine shuts off.

Leaving the Vehicle

Open the door by pressing the button at
the front of the armrest. When exiting
the vehicle, take the Keyless Access
transmitter with you. You can lock your
vehicle using one of three methods:
• Lock the doors with the power door
lock switch located on the door
panel, step out, and close the door.
• Press the Lock button on the
transmitter after you step out of
the vehicle.
• Program your vehicle for Passive
Locking, covered in this booklet
under Personalization Features.

Opening and Closing the
Hatch/Trunk
Your Corvette provides three
convenient ways of opening the
hatch/trunk:
• Touch the button located above the
license plate (the Keyless Access
transmitter must be within three
feet of the button).
• Press the Trunk Release button
located to the left of the
steering wheel.
• Press the Trunk Release button on
the Keyless Access transmitter.
