6.7.2 Installable 5-inch Internal Devices

The following types of 5-inch internal devices can be installed in this server.
For the installation, an optional cable is required for each device.
Unit type
DAT72 unit
LTO unit
LTO2 unit
LTO3 unit
LTO4 unit
Data cartridge
drive unit
SCSI-ID
For SCSI devices, the SCSI-ID is "5". To check if it is set to "5", refer to the manual of the 5-inch
internal device.

6.7.3 How to Install a 5-inch Internal Device

Follow the procedure below to install a 5-inch internal device.

Turn off the server and connected devices, and unplug all power cables from
the outlet.

Remove the top cover.

Touch a metal part of the server to discharge static electricity.
