RIDING TIPS

STARTING THE ENGINE

Necessary
before start the engine :
1. Inspect every day once before riding
the motorcycle.
2. The transmission is in neutral.
3. The ignition switch is in the " ON "
position.
4. The engine stop switch is in the "
position.
5. Moving the side stand to the upper
position.
6. Pull the clutch lever.
WARNING
The
side stand ignition interlock system.
If the transmission is in neutral or side
stand up, you can only start the engine
with pulling the clutch lever.
This side stand ignition interlock system
prevents the motorcycle from being
started with side stand down.
Make sure that the side stand igintion
interlock system is working properly
before riding.
CAUTION
This motorcycle always come on the
head lamp and tail lamp when starting
the engine.

1. Turn the carburetor choke lever all the
way toward you.
2. Close the throttle grip and push the
starter switch.
3. Immediately after the engine starts,
return the choke lever halfway and
warm up the engine.
4. Return the choke lever all the way back
to its disengaged position.
◉ ◉ When the engine is warm :
1. Open the throttle grip 1/8 ~ 1/4.
2. Push the starter switch.

Operation of the carburetor choke sys-
tem is not necessary when the engine is
warm.
Running the engine indoors or in a
garage can be hazardous.
Exhaust gas contains carbon monoxide,
a gas that is colorless and odorless and
can cause death or severe injury.
Only run the engine outdoors where
there is a fresh air.
Running the engine too long without rid-
ing may cause the engine to overheat.
Overheating can result in damage to
internal engine components and discol-
oration of exhaust pipes.
Shut the engine off if you do not begin
your ride promptly.
