Keyboard

Remove the keyboard
The following describes the procedure of removing the keyboard (See Figure 4-9 to 4-11).
CAUTION: As the keycap may fall out, when handling the keyboard always hold it by the
frame and do not touch the keycap.
1. Turn the computer upside down
2. Remove the Battery
3. Loose the screw securing KB Holder.
• M2.0x3.0B
4. Upside down the computer.
5. Open the display.
6. Remove KB holder. Insert your finger into the slot between the KB holder and the
keyboard. Then, lift up the keyboard holder to remove it.
7. Loose the screw securing KB screws.
• M2.0x3.0B
8. Insert your finger into the keyboard slot and keyboard. Then lift up the keyboard to
remove it.
9. Disconnect keyboard cable.
