ACCESSORIES — OUTDOOR UNIT
Motormaster® III head pressure control operates in cooling
mode at outdoor temperatures below 55 F. The Motormaster III
control varies the speed of the outdoor-fan motor to maintain
correct condensing temperature down to −20 F.
24-V thermostat and subbase provide precise control of space
temperature by allowing the selection of heating or cooling and
continuous or automatic fan operation.
Outdoor thermostat provides control to activate electric strip
heaters.
Condenser coil guard protects outdoor coil from large objects
and vandalism.
Condenser hail guard protects outdoor units from hail and
other flying debris.
Gage panel package provides one suction pressure gage and
one discharge gage mounted on a common panel. A shutoff
valve is provided for each gage.
ACCESSORIES — INDOOR UNIT
Two-row hot water coils have
mechanically bonded to aluminum plate fins. Coils have non-
ferrous headers.
One-row steam coil has 1-in. OD copper tube and aluminum
fins. The Inner Distributing Tube (IDT) design provides uniform
temperatures across the coil face. The steam coil has a broad
operating pressure range; up to 175 psig at 400 F and up to
300 psig at 300 F. The IDT steam coils are especially suited to
applications where sub-freezing air enters the unit.
Electric resistance heat coils have a one- or two-stage, open-
wire design and are mounted in a rigid frame. Safety cutouts for
high temperature conditions are standard.
Economizer (enthalpy controlled) provides ventilation air and
''free'' cooling if outside ambient temperature and humidity are
suitable.
Discharge plenum directs the air discharge directly into the oc-
cupied space; integral horizontal and vertical louvers enable re-
direction of airflow. Cannot be used with electric, hot water, or
steam heat options. Field assembly required.
Return-air grille provides a protective barrier over the return-air
opening and gives a finished appearance to units installed in the
occupied space.
Subbase provides a stable, raised platform and room for con-
densate drain connection for floor-mounted units.
Overhead suspension package includes necessary brackets
to support units in horizontal ceiling installations.
