Setting up the telephone for your own specific needs

Setting up macro functions

You can assign macro functions consisting of various steps to the function keys of
your telephone. In this way you can, for example, activate and deactivate a fixed
call diversion by means of a single keystroke.

Select the "Further functions:" menu item.
Select the "Macro function" menu item.
Select the "Set macro function" menu item.
A list of all possible functions appears on
the display.
Each function can be set up twice.

Select the desired function.
Call diversion:
Enter the call number to which you wish to
divert your calls. To do this, you can also
press a destination key.
Call pickup:
Enter the call number of the telephone from
which to pick up calls on your telephone.
To do this, you can also press a destination
key.
Confirm your entry.
Enter
Press the key to which you wish to assign
the macro function.
Select the desired macro function, e.g.
"Call diversion 1".
Confirm your input.
Enter
The macro function is now stored on the
corresponding key.
