Hardware Descriptions

As illustrated in Figure 2-1, the Model GA620 Gigabit Ethernet Card has a
Tx (transmit) port, an Rx (receive) port, and the two port LEDs described in
Table 2-2.

Activity Description
Blinking slowly The port is disabled.
On A good link exists on the port.
Off No link exists on the port.There could be a bad cable, a bad connector,
or a configuration mismatch.
Blinking or On Data is detected on the port.
Off No data is detected on the port.
