Removing the Evaporator Fan Mounting
Bracket:
1. Disconnect power from the freezer, remove the
cold control and fan housing cover and release the
top of the evaporator cover.
2. Disconnect the fan assembly wiring harness and
remove the cold control bulb from the bracket.
3. Remove the (2) Philips head screws holding the
bracket to the evaporator cover.
Removing the Defrost Termination
Thermostat:
1. Disconnect power from the freezer, remove the
cold control and fan housing cover and release the
top of the evaporator cover.
2. Disconnect the (2) wires from the defrost
termination thermostat.
3. Unsnap the defrost termination thermostat from the
evaporator to tubing.

Removing the Defrost Heater:

1. Disconnect power from the freezer, remove the
cold control and fan housing cover and release the
top of the evaporator cover.
2. Disconnect the (2) wires, one on each end, from
the defrost heater.
3. Remove the two metal straps holding the defrost
heater to the bottom of the evaporator, and pull
down on the heater.
