1. Connect the battery box and install it.
2. Repeat STEP 1 for the other battery box.
3. Make sure the safety latches A of the battery boxes engage.

10.4.5 Folding/Unfolding the chassis

Folding the chassis
1. Align the casters in driving position.
Lock the caster locks A, if available.
2.
Pull the lever B on the curb climber to bring it into park position.
3.
Pull up the center post C until the safety latch D engages.
4.
Unfolding the chassis
1. Pull the safety latch of the center post, then pull the front of
the chassis forward.
2. Push down the lever of the curb climber to release it.
3. Open the caster locks.

10.5 Reassembling the mobility device

Proceed as follows to reassemble the mobility device:
1. Unfold the chassis. Refer to 10.4.5 Folding/Unfolding the chassis,
page 54
2. Install the battery boxes. Refer to 10.4.4 Removing/Installing the
battery boxes, page 53.
3. Install the seat. Refer to 10.4.3 Removing/Installing the seat,
page 52
4. Connect the remote. Refer to 10.4.2 Disconnecting the remote,
page 52.
5. Fold the backrest upwards. Refer to 10.4.1 Folding the backrest
forwards, page 51.
6. Install the legrests. Refer to 7 Adjusting footrests and legrests,
page 35.
