Installing the battery boxes is easier when you tilt
the top of the boxes a bit to the inside.
1. Connect the battery box and install it.
2. Repeat STEP 1 for the other battery box.
3. Make sure the safety latches A of the battery boxes
engage.

8.4.5 Folding/Unfolding the chassis

Folding the chassis
1. Align the casters in driving position.
2. Lock the caster locks A, if available.
3. Pull the lever B on the curb climber to bring it into
park position.
4. Pull up the center post C until the safety latch D
engages.

Unfolding the chassis
1. Pull the safety latch of the center post, then pull the
front of the chassis forward.
2. Push down the lever of the curb climber to release it.
3. Open the caster locks.

8.5 Reassembling the mobility device

Proceed as follows to reassemble the mobility device:
1. Unfold the chassis. Refer to 8.4.5 Folding/Unfolding the
chassis, page 76
2. Install the battery boxes. Refer to 8.4.4
Removing/Installing the battery boxes, page 75.
3. Install the seat. Refer to 8.4.3 Removing/Installing the
seat, page 74
4. Connect the remote. Refer to 8.4.2 Disconnecting the
remote, page 74.
5. Fold the backrest upwards. Refer to 8.4.1 Folding the
backrest forwards, page 73.
6. Install the legrests. Refer to legrest chapters under 5
Setup, page 27.
