Installing the battery boxes
Risk of pinching the battery cables
– Make sure you do not pinch the battery cables when
installing the battery boxes.
Installing the battery boxes is easier when you tilt the top of
the boxes a bit to the inside.
1. Connect the battery box and install it.
2. Repeat STEP 1 for the other battery box.
Make sure the safety latches A of the battery boxes engage.

Folding the chassis
1. Align the casters in driving position.
2. Lock the caster locks A, if available.
3. Pull the lever B on the curb climber to bring it into park position.
Pull up the center post C until the safety latch D engages.

Unfolding the chassis
1. Pull the safety latch of the center post, then pull the front of
the chassis forward.
2. Push down the lever of the curb climber to release it.
3. Open the caster locks.

10.5 Reassembling the mobility device

Proceed as follows to reassemble the mobility device:
1. Unfold the chassis. Refer to 10.4.5 Folding/Unfolding the chassis,
page 56
2. Install the battery boxes. Refer to 10.4.4 Removing/Installing the
battery boxes, page 55.
3. Install the seat. Refer to 10.4.3 Removing/Installing the seat,
page 54
4. Connect the remote. Refer to 10.4.2 Disconnecting the remote,
page 54.
5. Fold the backrest upwards. Refer to 10.4.1 Folding the backrest
forwards, page 53.
6. Install the legrests. Refer to 6 Adjusting footrests and legrests,
page 31.
