Press the LOCK button.
If a password is not set, the top screen appears.
If a password is set, a screen requesting you to enter
the password appears.

Enter the password with the numeric keypad, and press
the ENTER key.
If the password is authenticated, the top screen
appears.

Setting the System
Controller to the Off State
Pressing the LOCK button for at least 3 seconds sets the
system controller to the off state.
You can also set the system controller to automatically
enter the off state when no operation is performed for a set
amount of time (the default setting is OFF). You can set the
time until the system controller enters the off state in the
multi function menu. For details, see "System Lock"
(page 48).
To recover from the off state
The operating procedure is the same as that for unlocking
the lock. See "To Unlock the Lock" (page 42).
