LP Conversion Instructions

Install the conversion kit prior to installing the gas line to ensure proper gas use.
1 Open the door (see page 16). Remove the logs and coals (if installed - page 17)
2 Remove the burner (see illustration below).
WARNING:
The burner is fragile - handle it with care.
Reach into the firebox and lift the

burner upwards (lift the burner from
below).
Do not lift burner out by the pins.

Pull the burner forward, out
of the firebox.
NOTE:
After replacing the burner,
make sure this "O" ring
seals the burner tube to the
mixing tube.

Remove the cast floor.
The tubes on the burner
insert into the tubes on the
mixing tube.

Burner Replacement:
If the burner does not insert
easily, make sure the screws
holding the rear mixing tube
in place are slightly loose.
This allows the mixing tube
to move slightly and align
with the burner tube.
Make sure the burner
is fully seated. When
in place, the pilot
flame must align
directly above the
burner holes.
