Moving a file to a different
folder
You can move a selected file to the desired
folder.
1
Select the file you want to move from
the HOME menu (page 28).

In play or playback stop mode, press
the OPTION button to display the
OPTION menu, select "Move/Copy
File," and then press the  button.

Press  and  to select "Move to
Built-In Memory" or "Move to Memory
Card," and press the  button.
4 Press  and  to select " Recorded
Files" or " Music" as the destination,
and press the  button.

Press  and  to select the folder
that you want to move the file to, and
press the  button.
The file is moved and appears as the last
file in the destination folder.
To cancel moving the file
Press the HOME/BACK button while "Please
wait" appears on the display. "Interrupt
process?" is displayed. Press
to select "Yes," then press the
cancel moving.
Note
You cannot move a protected file. To move the file,
ˎ ˎ
release the protection first, and then move the file.
 
