Testing an actuator motor

Requirements:
•
Multimeter
•
Check the electrical resistance of the
actuator. If it is close to infinite, then the
motor is likely to be burnt out. If it is less
than 1Ω, then motor has a short-circuit. In
either case, the motor needs to be replaced.
