Coax Command Interpreter

To gain access to some printer features not
available on the host system, a Command
Interpreter has been built into the
Multi–Platform Interface Feature.
By using special control codes, you can
pass the hexadecimal codes to the printer
that access the ASCII features of the printer.
These codes allow you to transparently pass
any character or sequence of characters to
the printer.
These codes are Hexadecimal ASCII
commands and must match ones supported
by the printer and MPI ASCII emulation
selected.
The commands are initiated by use of the
logical not (¬) character. You can access
this character by pressing the Shift and 6
keys on your terminal's keyboard.
