2-5. ND FILTER compensation

1. Connect the WFM to the COMPONENT Y, Pb and Pr OUT with 75ohm termination.
NOTE: Component video cable and PIN-BNC conversion plug are used.
NOTE: HD SDI OUT and the VIDEO OUT output can be used as a signal connected with WFM (VECTOR
SCOPE) instead of the component signal.
2. Connect the VIDEOI OUT to Monitor TV.
3. Shoot a halogen lamp. Bring a lamp close to a lens and set illumination as 10,000 to 15,000lux.
4. Set the IRIS of lens to "AUTO".
5. Set the GAIN switch to "L(0dB)" position.
6. Set the WHITE BAL switch to "B" position.
7. Set the OUTPUT switch to "CAM ON" position.
8. Set the shutter to "1/500".
9. Set the ND FILTER switch to "1" position.
10. Confirm that the white level of Y signal is around 70% and execute AWB → ABB → AWB.
11. Set the ND FILTER switch to "2" position.
12. Clicking "ND Compensation" button on the Camera Adjustment screen, ND Filter Compensation screen is
displayed.
13. Adjust location of vector dot by clicking the adjustment button for ND2 on ND Filter Compensation screen so
that the vector dot is located at the zero point in the vector.
14. Confirm that there is no colored on Monitor TV.
15. Set the shutter to "OFF".
16. Set the ND FILTER switch to "3" position.
17. Confirm that the white level of Y signal is around 70%.
18. Adjust location of vector dot by clicking the adjustment button for ND3 on ND Filter Compensation screen so
that the vector dot is located at the zero point in the vector.
19. Confirm that there is no colored on Monitor TV.
20. Set the ND FILTER switch to "4" position.
21. Confirm that the white level of Y signal is around 70%.
22. Adjust location of vector dot by clicking the adjustment button for ND4 on ND Filter Compensation screen so
that the vector dot is located at the zero point in the vector.
23. Confirm that there is no colored on Monitor TV.
24. Clicking "Save Data" button on the ND Filter Compensation screen to save the adjustment value.
NOTE:
Please use to standard lens.
If the white level of Y signal is not around 70%, adjust IRIS of lens manually so that the white level becomes around
70%. Do not open the IRIS over F5.6-1/2 during this adjustment.
