Warning messages
Meaning
An attempt was made to record or play back,
with no disc inserted.
An unformatted disc was inserted, or an attempt
was made to access it.
With a write-protected disc inserted, an attempt
was made to record or delete.
An attempt was made to play back or search,
but the inserted disc has no images recorded on
it.
An attempt was made to display the image
information list, but the inserted disc has no
image information recorded on it.
An attempt was made to record, but the inserted
disc has no remaining recording capacity.
The unit was powered on with the lithium battery
exhausted.
The inserted disc has been recorded on a
different system, and there is no space to write
the disc name, file names, ID numbers, image
names, and other items; an attempt was made
to enter or amend this information.
An attempt was made to erase or overwrite an
image which was written on a different type of
unit, and which has erase-inhibit set.
When executing Load in the User Setup menu,
you specified a data number for which the data
has not been entered.
You pressed the All Erase key with the unit not
in the source mode.

Actin to take
Insert a disc.
Press the ALL ERASE/INIT key to format the

Contact your Sony dealer.
