6. If there is no train sequence, do the following:
a. Check the cables on the Remote Module, and replace or
rewire them as needed.
b. Check the cables on the Switch Module, and replace or
rewire them as needed.
c. Has the cable between the locations been cut?
d. Is the T1 link between the units still up?
e. Check if the circuit is configured to look for loop current
(as in an FSO/FXS application). The telephone company
must reconfigure the circuit.
System Drops Calls
The problem of the system dropping calls can occur on dial lines
and dedicated lines. Follow these steps to correct the problem:
1. Lower the connect rate. From the Connect Rate menu, change
the setting from "Auto" to "m" or "s." The lower rate will improve
reliability
NOTE:
Speech quality degrades at 14.4 K.
2. Turn off the Call Waiting feature. The Call Waiting tone
interrupts data.
