Close the ADF lid.
Gently close the ADF lid.
Closing it too quickly may
cause the document to
move on the flatbed glass.

Place the document in the
document feed tray with the
side to be copied facing up.
Before loading the docu-
ment into the ADF, check
that no document pages
remain on the flatbed
glass.
