7. Insert the tabs on the roll paper holders into the slots on the paper support
adapter, as shown. If you're facing the front of the printer, the tab on the right roll
paper holder should be inserted into the slot at the right end of the adapter, and
the tab on the left roll paper holder should be inserted two slots to the left.
8. Feed the end of the paper into the printer as far as it will go, then slide the left
edge guide against the paper.
9. Gently rotate the roll backward to remove any slack from the paper.

It's important to insert the tab on the right roll paper holder into the
slot at the right end of the adapter. Otherwise your roll paper won't
load correctly, and you may see an error.
If your roll paper is wider than 4 inches, insert the tab on the left roll
paper holder into the appropriate slot on the adapter.
