VIII. Setting
1. Press [
] in idle mode
2. Scroll to [1.SMS] using upper/lower navigation key, then press [OK]. (or press digit 1 )
3. Scroll to [8.Setting] using upper/lower navigation key, then press [OK]. (or press digit 8 )
- Service center : It enables you to store or change the SMS center number.
User must obtain the number from service provider.
- Expire period : It enables user to set the length at the message center while attempts are made to deliver them.
Select the period in which the service center is to try to deliver the message
" 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, 72 hours, 1 week, Maximum "
- Message type : It enables user to set the default message – Text, Voice, E-mail and Fax.
The network can convert the message into the selected format.
- Status report : It enables user to activate or deactivate the report function. When this function is activated, the network
informs whether user message has been delivered or not.
- Alert period : User can select alert period of incoming messages.
"One Time, Every 2 min, Off"
IX. Memory status
User can check memory status. When message memory becomes full, the display shows "message full" with blinking icon.
When message memory becomes full, the display shows "message full" with blinking icon. the oldest message is
deleted to make a room for the new message.
