Toner Cartridge

The PagePro 1400W includes an in-box starter cartridge that produces
an average of 1,000 prints (5% coverage, letter/A4 size, continuous
printing). Replacement cartridges are available in 2,000 page yields.

OPC Drum Cartridge

The printer includes one full-capacity OPC Drum Cartridge which yields
an average of 20,000 pages (5% coverage, letter/A4 size, continuous
printing). The drum cartridge includes both the OPC drum and waste
toner box. The waste toner box captures excess toner from the printing
process and prevents engine damage from loose toner particles.

Supply Yields

Supply yields are expressed as an average number of letter/A4 pages
at 5% coverage. However, actual consumable life depends on such
variables as page coverage, page size, media type, continuous or
intermittent printing, ambient temperature, and humidity.
Optimal supply life is achieved with continuous printing (three or more
pages per job). Intermittent printing (one page per job) reduces
consumable life.
Supplies Monitoring
You can easily monitor the status of printer supplies through the PagePro
1400's convenient Status Display. By selecting "Supplies Status" from the
"Display" sub-menu, the amount of toner remaining in the cartridge can
be viewed in an easy-to-read "gas gauge" toner level indicator. The
Supplies Status display can be set to provide convenient pop-up
reminders about reordering toner, once toner use has been depleted to a
certain level. It also provides a handy link to the KONICA MINOLTA
website for easy online supply ordering.
