Install the AXIS Print System software on your Windows NT 4.0
workstation, if you have not already done so. AXIS Print System can
be downloaded from the AXIS Online CD or from the Axis WWW
home page at http://www.axis.com/.
To enable printing in the TCP/IP environment, you must ensure that
the TCP/IP protocol is enabled on your client.
The set of instructions you should use to install TCP/IP printer ports
is dictated by the IP address of your AXIS 560/660:
If you have an active DHCP server on the network or if you have
already set the IP address of the AXIS 560/660 using another
method, you should follow the installation instructions presented
in Installing TCP/IP Printer Ports, on page 64.
If your AXIS 560/660 is not assigned with a valid IP address, you
should follow the installation instructions presented in Installing
TCP/IP Printer Ports and Setting the IP Address, on page 62.
Follow the instructions below to install an AXIS Raw TCP/IP printer
port and set the IP address of the AXIS 560/660, using AXIS Print
System:
1. Start AXIS Print System by selecting AXIS Print System from the
Start menu.
2. AXIS Print System starts. Select Search for newly connected print
server... and click Next>.
3. Read the instructions and click Next>.
