    This is the recommended method for UNIX/Linux systems, but some System V versions do not support LPD. Advantages: Easy to set up — install the AXIS 5400+/AXIS 5600+ as a remote queue in System V, or add a remote printer to using the /etc/printcap fields (BSD).

    To install, follow the instructions given by the Installation Wizard. During the installation, you will be asked to enter a user id and a password — these will be used when logging in to AXIS ThinWizard, so please take a note of them.
