If
your outboard motor is a tiller
handle type, engage the emergency
stop switch clip (located at one end
of the emergency stop switch lanyard)
with the emergency stop switch.
Turn
the ignition switch key to the ON
position.
A spare emergency stop switch clip is
provided near the ignition switch.
