Corrective Action
1. Perform Bottom plate cleaning (In
the LCD monitor, select Tool box
-> Maintenance) up to 3 times. For
details, please refer to the user's
guide.
2. If soiling on the paper still remains
even after Bottom plate cleaning,
wipe protruding portion of the
platen and their surroundings with
a cotton swab. For details, please
refer to the user's guide.
Reduce the number of sheets loaded
(from 20 to 10, for example).
- Set paper's curl straight.
- Increase the head-to-paper distance
by setting the paper thickness lever
to the left.
When the memory card cannot be
removed even after carrying out the
followings, repair is needed.
1) Tilt the printer's slot part
downward.
2) Pull out the memory card using
adhesion of removable tapes.
(See the photo.)
* When operating 1) and 2), be
sure to power off the printer and
disconnect it from a power source.
