HP Installer Kit for Linux

The HP Installer Kit for Linux (HPIKL) helps users install certified versions of Linux on HP workstations. It is
available as an operating system option on all HP workstations. The kit:
Contains tested drivers that augment and/or replace those found in the Linux operating system to
enable proper use and behavior on HP workstations.
Does not include Linux operating system, which must be purchased separately from Red Hat or
SUSE. To view supported configurations and operating systems, see
support/linux_hardware_matrix.
The HPIKL option includes a FreeDOS preload. This operating system option accommodates those who
have a customized Linux distribution, or who have a licensed version of a Linux operating system and
would like to install the HP-recommended driver additions.
The kit also can be downloaded:
1.
See http://www.hp.com/support/workstation_swdrivers.
2.
Select your workstation model.
3.
Select the desired operating system.
4.
Select your software/driver language, and then click the Software quick jump link.
5.
Click the Obtain Software link for the appropriate package (typically the most recent revision).
6.
Click I Agree to accept the terms of the license agreement.
7.
Download the software ISO image and save it on a disc. This disc is your HP driver disc.
