Playing the Radio
AUTO SELECT
If you are
traveling far from home and can no
longer receive your preset stations,
you can use the Auto Select feature
to find stations in the local area.
Press the A. SEL Button. ''A.SEL''
flashes in the display, and the system
goes into scan mode for several
seconds. It stores the frequencies of
six AM, and twelve FM stations in
the preset buttons.
You will see a ''0'' displayed if Auto
Select cannot find a strong station
for every preset button.
If you do not like the stations Auto
Select has stored, you can store
other frequencies on the preset
buttons. Use the TUNE, SEEK, or
SCAN function to find stations, then
store them in the preset buttons as
described previously.

To turn off Auto Select,
A. SEL button. This restores the
presets you originally set.
Adjusting the Sound
BAL
Adjust the Balance, or side-
to-side strength of the sound.
FAD
Adjust the Fader, or the
front-to-back strength of the sound.
TRE
Adjust the Treble in the
sound.
BAS
Adjust the Bass in the sound.
Without Touring Package
Push the control knob to get it to pop
out. Turn the appropriate knob to
adjust the Bass or Treble level. Pull
the knob out farther to adjust the
Fader or Balance. Push the knob
back in when you are finished.
With Touring Package
Press the TUNE knob repeatedly to
display Bass (BAS). Treble (TRE),
Balance (BAL), and Fader (FAD),
setting. Turn the TUNE knob to
adjust the setting. The indicators on
the display will show you the
adjustable range. The system will
return to the audio display in about 5
seconds.
