IRMWARE UPGRADE
miniDSP may occasionally provide an update to the Dirac Series processor MCU firmware to enable new
features. To update the MCU firmware:
1. Download the latest utility software from the User Downloads section of the miniDSP website and unzip it.
2. With power removed from the Dirac Series processor, remove four screws and detach the lid.
3. Press the button shown in the photograph below, and apply power while holding the button down. Release
the button. Only the first Filter Set LED on the front panel will light, to indicate that the processor is in boot
loader mode.
4. Connect the processor to your computer via USB.
5. Double-click on the miniDSP_Upgrade_Tool to run it. The status line should display "Device attached".
