Disconnect the microphone cable (2) from the system board.

Remove the two Torx T8M2.5×7.0 screws that secure the top cover to the computer.
7.
Lift the rear edge of the top cover (1) until it disengages from the base enclosure.
8.
Swing the rear edge (2) of the top cover toward you until it rests at an angle.
9.
Lift the top cover (3) straight up and remove it.
